Prologue: Word from the crew

We are 5 weeks to the event, but 1 week to the launch of publicity. This is only getting better! =)

hey folks! Welcome to Forca 2007, a charity sports carnival organised by a group of youths coming together to assist Pertapis Childrens' Home. This entry is a lil' sneak peek of our efforts thus far.

So last Friday, September 28th, the committee visited the kids from PCH to spend some time and break our fast with the kids. It's been long since we last saw them, given our own individual tight schedules. And not to mention, the committee is working very hard to make this Project: Forca a great one.

When we were there, we were reminded once again of our primary objective to have this fundraiser for them. Realising the need for more programmes for the nurture and development of these children, the Forca committee hopes to materialise our visions and aspirations for these kids.

You just gotta be there to know what we mean.

So ANYWAY! The carnival is drawing closer in a month time! It will be on the 11th November, at the central Bishan Park. Expect loads of great activities! Touch rugby and Street netball matches going on throughout the day, and carnival sales with loads of exciting items on sale! Not to mention, an energetic crowd, and of course, your enthusiastic, lively bunch of hosts (US!)
